VERAFLORA is a plant originating from the desert terrains of JIUDI WORLD, distinguished by its soft, bioluminescent petals and thick, fleshy leaves. Similar to “Aloe” plant commonly found on Earth. Revered for its remarkable healing properties, Veraflora is widely used in JIUDI hair care for its ability to repair damage to both hair and scalp. The plant's gel-like sap is rich in restorative compounds that soothe irritated skin, promote cell regeneration, and strengthen damaged hair. Its versatile nature makes it a staple in traditional remedies, where it is applied to treat a variety of scalp conditions and restore hair vitality. Another main ingredient found in our semi-permanent hair colour formula.

Story
In the wastes around the city, very little can grow. Endless heat, freezing nights, and wanderers who are more bone than flesh. In nooks and crannies however, small gaps in the endless dirt, Veraflora sprouts, springing from the earth in tiny clumps. Green shoots burst into neon flowers, gently glowing like tiny beacons. During the day they are almost impossible to see, blending into the endless nothingness of the landscape. At night however, their gentle glow draws the doomed and depressed towards them, tiny pricks of light in endless darkness.
Of course their purpose is more than simply decoration, as the thick leaves that grow beneath the flowers are well known for their medicinal properties. Take a leaf and cut it open, and purple liquid comes spilling out, the leaves themselves bleeding. This purple blood however is often nicknamed ‘the water of life’ out in the wastes, as its unique healing properties make it as valuable as gold. There is a reason those destitute wanderers flock towards any sign of Veraflora, as its blood soothes and cleans injuries, making it invaluable in an environment where brutality and bloodshed are as common as breathing. This little flower has saved more lives through sterilization and its gentle touch than a thousand doctors, and it in some of the more nomadic cultures within the wastes it is considered sacred. Underestimate Veraflora at your peril, as true desert dwellers know that the blood of the neon plant will give life to those who seek it.
Collaboration
We recently teamed up with 3D artist Roxi Basa to bring the plants of JIUDI WORLD to life. Inspired by the key ingredients in our hair colour formula, we collaborated on whismical 3D animations and renders that showcase each fantasy plant. The goal was to help our community better understand the benefits of these ingredients while revealing more fragments of the lore of JIUDI WORLD. Working with Roxi was an absolute pleasure — her boundless imagination and talent really helped us visualize more of the JIUDI fantasy.
