CADO CADO is a tree-type plant indigenous to the lush, tropical regions of JIUDI WORLD. Known for its large, pear-shaped fruits with a creamy, nutrient-rich flesh, Cado Cado is celebrated for its beneficial effects on hair health. The fruit's rich, buttery pulp is packed with essential fatty acids and vitamins that promote hair growth, enhance shine, and improve smoothness. Cado Cado oil, extracted from the fruit, is a key ingredient in JIUDI hair care practices, used to nourish and condition hair, leaving it resilient and lustrous. Story

All that is understood about the Cado Cado is that it is a truly alien plant, its translucent trunk leading to green fruit which hum, a gentle undercurrent wherever it grows. Cado-Cado groves are well known for the soothing effect they have on visitors, with the gentle sound of the fruit and pleasant smell a well known mood booster for those crushed by the eternal weight of the never-sleeping city. It will therefore not surprise you to hear that every single cado-cado grove this side of the world is therefore monetised and sold to the highest bidder. Most are on private estates, oases of tranquillity accessible only to the richest of residents.

There is one clear exception however - the great grove, which lies in the heart of the city. Its existence is miraculous in itself, a grove 1000 trees strong, overlooked by the developers who consumed so much of the nature that once existed in JIUDI WORLD. By the time they realised there was land still dedicated to trees, they moved to build on it immediately. But the grove had defenders - millions of them. For the everyday folk of the city, it was one of the last truly beautiful places, accessible to everyone, no fee, no tech, nothing. And so when the machines came to tear the grove down, they found an army, united in purpose, even if just to protect this tiny piece of a once much greener world. And just like that, the grove has stayed, its trees forever bearing fruit. The Cado-Cado fruit builds strength, and gives those who eat it the same glow and calmness that they themselves emit. The very rich, with their private groves, make salads and consumes and purees and believe it makes them young. What they fail to understand, is only in its raw form does the Cado-Cado possess the health benefits that will truly make a difference. And so it is ordinary people, plucking the fruit off those thousand trees, who remain youthful and healthy. While the rich rot with their fruit processed into nothing. And so this alien tree, like so many others in the great city, has found a home amongst those who treat it with respect.

We recently teamed up with 3D artist Roxi Basa to bring the plants of JIUDI WORLD to life. Inspired by the key ingredients in our hair colour formula, we collaborated on whismical 3D animations and renders that showcase each fantasy plant. The goal was to help our community better understand the benefits of these ingredients while revealing more fragments of the lore of JIUDI WORLD. Working with Roxi was an absolute pleasure — her boundless imagination and talent really helped us visualize more of the JIUDI fantasy.
